Life groups are a catalyst for change. Not only do they create an opportunity to share interests, concerns and issues but they give an opportunity for those who haven't quite got their life together yet to relate to those who are further down the track.

The groups are not simply inward-looking however; they also have an outward focus, mainly community involvement, giving opportunies for leadership development and personal growth. The more prominent examples being part of the community rebuilding program after the 'Black Saturday' bushfires, and again, after the floods in northern Victoria in 2011.
